The Opole Philharmonic association and conductor Bartosz Żurakowski played with the new scholarship recipients – Mateusz Rożek and Przemysław Winnicki. The guests could enjoy Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 16 and Peter Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in B minor, op. 23.
The gala, like the two previous ones, was anchored by Marcin Kydryński.
Marcin is a talented and recognised Polish music journalist, composer, author of lyrics, producer, traveller and photographer. He shared his knowledge with the guests and talked about the music of Grieg and Tchaikovsky etc. Class and skill! Marcin Kydryński agreed to stay with the Foundation for the following years as well.
